Format
We will run at least two trials per day (more if time permits) , they will all count toward making your dog a FBDCS Champion, and all trial points will be added together for the High Point Dog of the Year Series. Certificates, and gift cards will be given for 1st 2nd and 3rd place, also prizes will be given for high point dogs of the day
The rules and objectives are as follows
. With a fifteen minute
time limit you hunt a designated field to (pointing) point/flush and bag (flushing) flush and bag 3 birds.
You are allowed 6 shells to bag the 3 birds and your dog must retrieve
to within one step of you for full credit. Each shell you use results in
a deduction of points, as will a partial retrieve. Once you bag your
3rd bird and leash your dog, the time stops and you are awarded 2 points
for each minute you have left.
Hunters Class will allow E collars on the dog, but any dogs entered in Hunters Class can't participate in other classes the same day.
Classes will be
Amateur Pointing (any dogs up to 3 years old before before 3\31\2012)

FBDCS Champions
NOTE: CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS ARE EARNED BY THE DOG AND NOT THE HANDLER
A dog must attain 20
points to be recognized as a FBDCS Champion. To
gain a division championship the dog must have three (3) first place
finishes. The remainder of the points needed to complete the
championship may come in any combination of points. The system for
earning championship points is as follows:
Open and Doubles 1st place=3 points, 2nd place=2 points, 3rd place=1 points.
Amateur 1st place=5 points, 2nd place=3 points, 3rd place= 1 points
Note; multiple FBDCS Champions can be won by a dog
Recognition Jackets will be awarded at the Finals for dogs attaining Champion status
High Point Dogs will be calculated as follows
Dogs will earn points towards the Dog of the Year by their placement
in the trial. The point system is: 1st place dog in the trial will
earn 6 points multiplied by the number of dogs in the trial. The 2nd
place dog will earn 5 points multiplied by the number of dogs in the
trial. 3rd place dog will earn 4 points multiplied by the number of
dogs in the trial. 4th place dog will earn 3 points per dog multiplied
by the number of dogs in the trial. 5th place dog will earn 2 points
multiplied by the number of dogs in the trial. Then to finish out top
dog points after 5th place the dog will get one (1) point, plus a point
for each dog he beats in the trial.
